Casa Billie // Aldinga Beach

Casa Billie is a retreat designed for ease - a Palm Springs–inspired escape set just moments from the shoreline of Aldinga Beach. Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, between the coast and the conservation park, the home offers a rare balance of relaxed luxury and effortless access to some of South Australia’s most loved landscapes.

Photographed with a lifestyle-led approach, the focus was on experience rather than arrangement. Light moving across freshly renovated interiors. Outdoor spaces settling into themselves. The quiet rhythm of a home designed to be lived in, not simply passed through.

Inside, Casa Billie unfolds with warmth and intention. Three beautifully appointed bedrooms invite rest, softened by natural light, blackout blinds, and layered linens. The kitchen - modern, calm, and well-considered - becomes a natural gathering point, opening onto the deck for long lunches, slow mornings, and evenings that drift outdoors. Nothing feels overworked; every element feels purposeful.

The outdoor spaces are where the home truly comes into its own. A Palm Springs–inspired garden, fire pit, outdoor shower, and generous lawn create a setting that shifts seamlessly with the seasons - from sun-drenched beach days to cooler nights spent gathered around the fire. For families, playful touches are woven in with ease, ensuring the home feels welcoming without compromising its aesthetic calm.

Casa Billie’s location anchors the experience. Just 200 metres from the beach, with direct access to the drive-on shoreline, and a short journey to McLaren Vale’s wineries and dining destinations, the home invites both stillness and exploration. It’s a place to slow down - or head out - depending on the day.

This shoot captures Casa Billie as it is meant to be experienced: relaxed, thoughtful, and quietly indulgent. A contemporary coastal stay where design, comfort, and feeling meet.
