There's something special about creating portraits for people who are quietly changing an industry.

For the latest issue of South Australian Style Magazine, I had the opportunity to photograph the cover story, Changing Courses, featuring four incredible women helping shape the future of South Australia's hospitality and wine scene. The feature celebrates the people behind some of the state's most respected restaurants, wineries and bakeries, sharing the stories that often happen behind the kitchen pass, cellar door or dining room.

Photographed at Soda Studios, the creative direction leaned towards clean, contemporary portraiture with a fashion editorial feel. We wanted the imagery to feel refined and confident, allowing each person's individuality to come through while creating a cohesive visual story across the magazine.
